The Florida State University Women Student Union asked for a design that fit the 2018 Womxn's History Month theme of ''Nevertheless She Persisited.'' They wanted to include hands as seen in previous designs using a fist within the female/ Venus symbol (♀) representing women power, but they also wanted to omit the ♀ symbol to promote inclusivity of all sexes of women. For this I crafted hands into the wings of a pheonix, representing both the unity of women and the persistance of the bird that rises from the ashes.
